Oscar Piña is a Charted Financial Consultant, Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor™ professional, is President of Ascent Wealth Management Group, LLC a registered investment adviser—a financial firm focused on wealth protection and financial retirement planning. With a vast knowledge base, strong integrity, and years of experience with loyal investors, he specializes in helping individuals and small businesses work towards pursuing their financial goals.

Recognizing that each client has individual needs, Oscar dedicates himself to understanding and appreciating each client's situation before making recommendations. He believes in educating clients and works diligently to help them develop achievable goals, understand their financial choices and portfolios, and implement strategies that assist them in attaining their personal plans. As an independent financial adviser & fiduciary, he receives no financial incentives for using any investment over another so is able to tailor his advice so it will always be in the best interest of each client.

The financial services industry, tax codes, and federal regulations are constantly changing. To serve his clients to the best of his ability, Oscar maintains up to date knowledge on the ever-changing landscape to better serve his clients and prospects. 

Oscar received his bachelor's degree from the University of Miami with a major in Finance, and has been working with clients since 1986.  Before establishing his own firm, Oscar worked with Equity Services, Inc, Robert W. Baird & Company, Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC, MetLife Securities Inc, Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC.  

In his spare time, Oscar enjoys traveling, foodie experiences, auto racing and spending time with his daughters. But his driving true passion is helping families achieve their financial goals.
